Tampa Bay boasts an array of nonprofits that uplift both individuals and animals alike. While many of these organizations lack the resources to showcase their initiatives, their contributions are as significant as those of larger, well known entities. The Positive Difference Organization recognizes that every individual possesses unique skills and passions that can be harnessed for acts of kindness that leave a lasting impact. By aligning personal interests with the needs of local nonprofits, this annual event fosters a sense of community involvement. When individuals align their passions with meaningful causes, they experience a sense of purpose and empowerment, driving them to sustain their support for these organizations
Free community event in July
Christmas exemplifies the spirit of giving and sharing positivity. Every year, Birthday Fundraiser Inc. in partnership with The Angelus hosts a special blood drive event that brings together government services, non-profit organizations, and local businesses. The purpose is to create a free community gathering filled with warmth and inspiration for our young people. Local businesses are generously donating their services to provide entertainment and activities, showcasing the power of collaboration and community spirit. This event serves as a testament to what we can achieve when we unite for a common cause, fostering a sense of togetherness and spreading the message of hope and goodwill.
Free community event in November
Every year, a celebration is held to commemorate humanity's capacity for altruism. This birthday-themed event serves as a reminder to reflect on the contributions we have made and the potential for positive impact in the coming year. To align with this message, a different Tampa Bay charity is highlighted each year, providing attendees with an opportunity to donate and directly support the featured organization. The proceeds from food sales are also dedicated to benefiting the selected charity.
Motivational Engagement Events
Any youth organization can request a free 30-60 minute motivational engagement
event. These are not just talking with children but actively engaging with them. Topics covered range from ways to help around the house to understanding their own interests & seeking ways to use those to help others. Handouts are supplied to each child with age appropriate content and information on the back for parents to continue to lessons at home. Children receive a motivational wristband at the event so they can be reminded to stay positive. Thanks to a grant from 4imprint, children currently get a UV color changing wristband with the motto “Who I am Matters, What I do Matters”.
Positive Difference Makers
In 2024, a groundbreaking youth organization emerged, catering specifically to children aged 3-6 and their siblings. Its mission is twofold: to foster individuality and ignite a passion for helping others. To ensure accessibility, all monthly events are offered free of charge, eliminating financial barriers and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to participate.
